xbox live connection problems?

I've just finished playing some GoW co-op over live just now...when I went back to the dashboard, I was signed out.

Tried signing back in but it won't. On running the test connection thing, it's failing on the 'XBOXLIVE' step? I've never had any problems with this before.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

my mate was getting disconnection issues earlier as well, think its just the servers are busy tonight.
