xbox ixos xpx04 component lead

    this looks like a real nice lead but in the pic it look like it dosnt come with a optical output ,, :( can anyone confirm

    Indeed no optical output, Monster also do one that you have to buy the optical bit separately. Best choice is to get the original style Microsoft HD Pack and then use your own component lead. i use a Supra AV3 with mine and the picture is crisp as

    ahh good good , i was looking at those HD packs but i noticed it said it didnt work with PAL systems , surley this is ******** :D anyway my xbox is chipped so i can set it to NTSC mode

    My Original Microsoft High Definition AV Pack came with component leads & like all Xox stuff (apart from that crap DVD remote) is excellent quality.

    You of course need to set your output to NTSC to get progressive scan on the component. Without it 480i is no better than using the RGB SCART lead.
