    Guys,

Just bought an XBOX and am delighted with it, but I can't see how to set it to widescreen (if this is possible?). On my PS2 you just change it in the setup menu, but I can't find an option for it with the XBOX...

Also, anyone recommend a good scart lead for it? Is the official lead the best one?

    Cheers!

Yeah it's there lol. just boot up to the dashboard and navigate to:

Settings >> Video >> Video Mode

You should see three choices - normal, letterbox or 16:9:)

as for a scartlead i just bought the gamester rgb/sp-dif lead. works fine for me:)

Okay - now I feel stupid (I had been to that menu, but I was pushing left and right instead of "A")! Thanks James!

No, not pre-mod - just a regular jobby.

Got Halo, Midtown Madness 3, Munch's Oddysee & Topspin - and I've got Jet Set Radio Future, FIFA 2004 & SSX 3 on order. My credit card has taken a pounding this week!! :D

Just researching which other games I wanna get - been looking on Gamespot, know wny other good games review sites?

I also want a decent driving game (MM3 is good, but not great) - any recommendatios... Gonna take a look at Project Gotham & Colin McRae...

both pgr 1 and 2 are excellent. ive also got mm3 and to be honest its crap lol. you'll see the difference in speed and resoultion as soon as you put on pgr;)

Ive got nfs:u on the pc and that is a fun game, far more enjoyable and less technial than pgr, but doesnt quite have the replay value i think.

It's best to go for official products mate, especially as the MS one outputs RGB.
