The only files you can integrate into a game's soundtrack are those in wma form (from what i've been able to gather) - mp3 isn't an option :(

Additionally, music must be saved under the E drive in the same directory that the standard Xbox dash rips CD's to - if you have a modded Xbox (which I know you do ;)) and want to play music ripped/FTP'd over to your F drive then the only way to do it is to transfer the relevant tracks to the right directory...

no, they have to be in one of the UDATA TDATA folders. They have to be in wma and they normally have to be ripped by the xbox (some1 has said they have ftps them but ive never seen it done)
best bet is to burn to a cdrw and transfer - shouldnt take toooo long...

You can FTP the files over if you know the right place to put them...

If you've ripped music over via the Xbox dash before then just use the file explorer in your "new" dash to track them down. FTP any music you want into the same folder (in wma form of course) and the tracks should appear as "options" in any enabled game.

    Good luck :)
