if you complete HOTD3 then you unlock HOTD2 that you could also play.

yes it is a little poor I must admit. I would have thought there will be more released soon though.

One problem is that more and more TV's are incompatable with light guns, so presumably less games are being made...

thats a good point, i suppose the good old days of arcade shooters have passed us by.
i can still remember time crisis on the ps1. but ofcourse there were less plasmas and RPTV's then.
what makes you think there will be more released soon though?

mostly i guess that because light guns are finally being released with support for progressive displays (every display except projectors where you would be in the way of the image!).

Also I was just hoping really as they are a great laugh! Mind, I can easily go back to the dreamcast to play one of the classic light gun games. Still good fun when playing with a mate :)

As you said with more and more people buying newer TVs its getting harder to make gun games compatible. I think theres also less and less demand for these kind of games.

I guess its a shame but not unexpected. One other reason is the need for specialised hardware ( ie the gun) that costs money.

Gun games were originaly designed for the arcades and since arcade games are being phased out by more and more powerfull home systems I think we have seen the last of gun games with this genereation of consoles.

Dont get your hopes up for more gun games!

the ratio of gun games and the selection of gun hardware for the xbox is a bit of a joke though. there seems to be plenty of choice for the gun. but 2 games to choose from to play with.
but i see what your saying AML, i suppose if developers/publishers released shooting games then it would only appeal to the niche market and thats probably how game houses end up going pop.
