Does anyone know where the best place is to import a dvd controller for the xbox from the good ole US of A?

I want to play region 1 dvd's on it with the hassle.

    Thanks.

Bear in mind that I've heard using certain region DVD remotes on Xbox's permanently LOCKS that Xbox to that particular region (ie. you won't be able to play region 2 DVD's anymore).

I could be wrong on this, but I'd certainly do a bit more research first before buying one.

I would have thought that the easiest way to accomplish that in the UK is to get your XBox chipped. Then you can play all regions and you get the added bonus of being able to do lots of other cool things with it

True, you don't get a DVD remote. The XBox controller might be a little on the lardy side (unless you have an S), but it works just fine as a DVD remote :smashin:

You can still use the XBox remote with a chipped console.

If you insert a DVD and select the MS dashboard, you can play the disc and use the official remote control.

(I found using the controller (pad) too confusing and awkward.)
