Promised myself a new game this month, but what a choice, they all look stunning

I guess I could get Crimson Skies now from Game and xchange in 10 days for top spin

    I don't have 'live'

    Any thoughts

Having played Crimson Skies I'd say that for me it's a Live!-only purchase. Early reviews suggest that Top Spin is going to be the one to beat out of those 3, but it's too early to say with any degree of certainty.

It will also depend on your tastes, for me it would be XIII as i am not really that bothered about tennis.

I have top spin now & it's the dogs i'm telling ya
Single player is very big indeed, plays very smooth & looks fantastic.
If you liked Virtua Tennis you'll love this because it's so much better.
It's even stopped me playing PES3 & it had to be somthing very good to stop me playing that gem of a game.
Believe me if you only buy one game make sure it's top spin :smashin:

Did you import the US version? Assuming your Xbox ix chipped, does that mean you can't play on Live, since to read the disk you need the chip on, but if you go on Live with a chip you get banned?

Live play is the reason I didn't import this. Can't wait to get it online...

No - get Top Spin! Best game I've played on Live! so far, but also amazing in simple 2-player mode. It's definitely one of the best games I've played this year.

I had a quick shot of Top Spin yesterday and I was well impressed. I played a set as Pete Sampras and that's been enough to convince me we have a Virtua Tennis beater here.

I should have Crimson Skies on Tuesday and I've heard a lot of good things about that as well.

It's not split screen because the court is always taking up the whole screen, but yes, you and a mate can go online & play doubles against another pair. In fact, that's the only way you can play doubles - there's no option to have 4 players on separate Xboxes playing using Live.
