I have recently bought Burnout for the Xbox and have noticed that although it seems to be widescreen it doesn't fill the screen (comes up about a quarter of an inch short on either side). I've also got Rallisport and Amped which have no problem filling the screen (PS2 widescreen games are fine as well).

I was wondering whether anyone else had experienced the same problem or had any ideas on how to get round it. I can get at the service menu for my TV but I really don't want to set it to overscan much more than it is. I run my consoles into a RGB switch box then through my Sony DVD player as my tv only has 1 RGB Scart (Sony KV28LS35).

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

Also similar on the Game Cube version.

Bit poor really, unless they expect most TV manufacturers to set the overscan defaults really high to hide poor geometry.

    Cheers

That may be the case for the X-Box, but I got a US cube and copy of Burnout. So I am guessing it is more to do with the game itself rather than a particular territories conversion.
