XBOX 720p?

Hi

Quick question...

Can the XBOX play DVD's at 720p or 1080i ? ..... I know it does this with games (if modded).

If so... is it any good (sound/PQ) compared to a decent dedicated DVD player (e.g. a Denon 2200).

Can't find any dedicated DVD players that output 720p apart from the new Pioneers.

I'm not sure if a xbox can play dvd's @ 720p & 1080i, I know that a US Xbox can play games at @ 720p & 1080i

Samsung 935
Momitsu V880
Bravo D1
Yamakawa 365
All these players can output 720p & 1080i

I would think that any of the above players would give you a better pq than a Xbox.

Only the 868 can upscale to 720p. the 668 only outs a 480p 0r 576p signal via HDMI

I think the samsung 935 upscaler only works on dvi output.
