Xbox 360 tearing and output

I have a pioneer 5080xd which isnt full had but does accept 1080p.

What is the best resolution to set it as via HDMI 720p 1080i or 1080p.

Also how do I get rid of tearing in dead rising, i hear there is a 60hz mode but i cannot find it

Not sure about the best resolution, would imagine if your tv accepts 1080p then that's the way to go, think it's just down to personal preference for 720p/1080i.

It's important to remember that some games are going to suffer from this regardless of your display - worst offenders for me were Saints Row and Lego: Indiana Jones, it's just the games themselves half the time...

Dead Rising, and most capcom games, just tear mate, fact of life Esp over VGA
