Not sure if this still stands but a few weeks back gamestation will give you full price trade in on xbox 360's!

So you may get what you paid.Ring your local shop

lol someone calling themselves 'Delboy' selling brand new goods without a receipt... not at all dodgy.

If you bought the goods on your credit card you maybe able to prove to the store that you purchased them there - or if you remember the person who served you and they remember you then you might be able to return them.

ok If I trade it into gamestaion do they give you money for it staright away?

I dont have a reciept as it was bought from hmv online. I just have a hmv confirmation sticker.

there returns state I cant take it into a hmv store, but I dont wanna pay £20 postage to send it back to them

so that reffers why I wont have a reciept.

but the trade in sounds good anyone else got news on gamestation and if they do tis and how much

The sticker is the receipt, it's like Argos - you have to cut the postage label off the packaging as your receipt with them.

You can insist HMV send you a vat receipt for the goods but it could take them a couple of weeks to get one out to you.

Just send it back to them, it will only cost £10 insured with parcelforce... you are legally entitled to return it for a refund under the distance selling laws.

No I don't think you'll be able to return it to a HMV store, the website is based in Guernsey and is most likely setup as a seperate entity to the HMV retail stores.

Premiums cost £285 from HMV online so even if it costs you £15 to return it then you'll get £270 back.

Have you tried offering it in the Classified's? because that is where the majority of people ask for them.

can't you view your past orders? Amazon save all your orders, i can go back and look at things i purchased back in 2001. Surely HMV have a feature like that.

They have indeed - my HMV order history goes back a couple of years at least. I don't think he wants the hassle of posting it back though?

Surely it's no more hassle to post it back than it is to post it to a buyer via the classified advert...
