I just used the Xbox 360 Play & Charge Kit for the first time and I cant disconnect it from my controller, it just feels that it will break every time I try to pull it out, is there something I should be doing to make it disconncet or should it it just pull out easily

Just give it a firm but controlled tug and it will come out.

Yeh I found this the first time I charged my controller. Just give it a firm tug, then pull from under the connector.

Mine charges in standby, but first connect the controller while the console is on. I didn't realise, closed the cabinet doors, woke up to find my AV cab had become an oven!

I have noticed that with my rechargeable battery, I get a faint green light on the bottom right quadrant of the controller when it's not in use. Has anyone else had that?

Yep I can see this too, only in the dark though. The 2nd and 3rd quadrants are dimly light. Once I take out the rechargeable batteries, the lights completely go out.

You can charge the pad in standby mode and when its charged the 360 will turn itself off.

Hold down the xbox guide button until a menu appears on the right, then select shutdown/turn off console at the top (from memory, could be worded differently). It will charge your battery and then turn itself off :smashin:
