Found here http://www.t3.co.uk/news/games/xbox/xbox_360s_new_online_service_explained The whole Xbox Live payment system is primed for a major overhaul with the launch of Microsoft's mighty 360 machine this Christmas. The most significant change is that there'll be various Xbox Live Gold membership subscription offers available for when 360 hits UK shelves. Currently you have to pay £40 upfront for an annual Gold membership, entitling you to privileges such as online gaming and chat. But the new set-up will enable you to choose between one-month (£5), three-month (£15) or 12-month (£40) subscriptions. Plus, you won't need a credit card to subscribe, because Microsoft is launching a subscription card that'll let you pay for your Gold membership with cash in shops that support the service.
