just wondered if anyone can help i live in uk and want to buy some hd dvds from america want to no will they play on my uk hd dvd add on drive for xbox 360 or are they region protected like normal dvds have had a look around and most places say they will play just on the play.com international site says must have region 1 north american hd dvd drive if anyone camn let me no before i buy cheers

I dont know why Play haven't taken that stupid quote down off their site yet. It is completely untrue, and ridiculous given that their speciality is home entertainment.
