Is it possible to use the Xplorer controller that I got with Guitar Hero 2 for my Xbox 360 on my Wii to play coop mode on Guitar Hero 3.

    Thanks for any advice given.

Nope, the Wii version requires you plug a Wii-remote into it. I believe the xbox 360 version are wireless in their own right. (and would have no connection for the wii-remote)

Best bet would be take a look in the Wii Classifieds on here, there's always a 2nd hand guitar coming up now and then.

    Thanks for the reply.

The xplorer is a wired controller, I was wondering if anyone had found an adapter to allow them to use it with the Wii.

I very much doubt it. I would have thought the Xplorer connects to the 360 using USB so no physical adapter should be needed as the Wii has USB connections. Having said that USB on consoles is not like that on PC's and Macs. Regardless I suspect the Wii is not going to recognize the controller and the only way it would work is if Nintendo introduced the connectivity in a firmware update which isn't going to happen.
