Hi,

I bought a Panasonic L37G15 at the weekend (replacing an old CRT) so am trying to get things set up correctly and looking for a little advice.

Iv connected my Xbox 360 up to the TV via the supplied component HD AV cable (as its an older version box and the only connection i have) and the picture seems fine. Are there any alternative ways of hooking up my Xbox to improve picture and quality? VGA cables/ Scart etc. Im currently running it at 1080i.

Also i will be using the Xbox for SD DVD's so best connection for that too!!

Any help would be great as not sure what is the best way of getting optimum picture quality for the TV.

hello...component is the best connection u will get on an old 360.....new ones have hdmi connection which gives a slightly crisper picture and the option of setting 360 to 1080p.(upscaled)

with out being rude have u got the switch on the component cable set to "hdtv"......i know a few people that have left it on normal and think they are running a hd picture!!...:)

Thanks David. Yes i have set the switch to HDTV but i can see how it is easily done. To be honest the picture is great i was just interested to see if there was a way of improving it further.
