    Hi,

has anyone got their 360 hooked up to their 32PF9976 or 86 LCD TV? I haven't got a 360 yet, but wondered if the TV sees an output from the 360 of 1080i? I ask because I cannot for the life of me get the TV to see 1080i from my connected (DVI to DVI) PC, only 720p with the 1:1 pixel screen and borders.

    Cheers,
    Z.

i have the 32pf9976, and was unable to get a picture from the 360 via the scart (got sound and flashing full-screen single-colour). i could hear the set-up icons beeping as i moved the control left and right, but no picture. xbox help had no clue, and advised return to shop.
will i be able to hook up a new 360 to this tv for HD, and how?

Connected to the 37pf9986 on component - no problem. Goes through the DVI/VGA / component cabel supplied with the tv. Running at 1080i no problem

I managed to get the following resolutions to display on my 32pf9976:

    VGA

    1024 x 720 - has 1" border all around the screen
    1024 x 768 - has 1" border at either side of screen

*none of the higher resolutions will display with VGA.

    Component (via a Component-DVI adapter)

720p - has 1" border all around the screen
1080i - full screen (Am currently using this setting)

Hope this helps, i spent ages trying to find an answer to this question so hopefully this will clear it up once and for all.

    Aaron
