XBMC install help needed

Hello,
Ive recently ballsed up my xbmc installation and need some help fixing this
I thought i might as well start from scrathc - is there any help you guys can give me?
Treat me as a complete noob - the xbox was soft modded for me by someone else origionally.

Any help is greatly received

I am no pro but i think you need to download the xbmc latest version from torrent sites and then copy it to you your Apps folder
and E:Tdata and E:Udata folder must be cleared of any old files..

Thats what i did last...If i remember correctly..go to xbox-scene for more info
