Just wondered what game/s were on people's "must have" list at the moment.
I seem to be getting less and less time to trawl the net and don't subscribe to any mags now, so would like to know what's looking good between now and Xmas?

So what will you all be spending your hard earned on?

    Cheers for replying

    :)

Jedi academy (November 28??) - MMMMmmmmmmmmmmmm.... 16 player light saber battles, cant wait :smashin:
Unreal 2 ( December 5) - Great looking graphics and a great sounding Team Gameplay with Tanks/Jeeps - should be what Wolfenstein should have been - a good game
Counter strike (December 5) - The best online FPS ??
Operation Flashpoint (March 2004??) - GR(IT) style game but with Helicopters, Tanks, Jeeps etc as well as Infantry fighting.
    Halo 2 (April 2004??) - it might be good ;) :D

I've heard Amped 2 is already on sale in some Dixons / Currys?
Bit of a trend starting there then....

So is this Jedi Academy mainly an RPG then?

    :)

XIII the reviews have been good for the single player But the multiplayer modes are very dull according to reviews.

Jedi Academy is a FPS - uses the Quake 3 engine like Wolfenstein/sof2 so will run very easily on the xbox. You can use all the usual blasters etc in 1st person mode and when you get the Light saber out it goes 3rd person - you can do all the jedi moves backflips, running along walls etc and all the jedi powers - Pull guns out of enemys hands, Push enemys off cliffs etc.
You can have 3 different Light saber styles - Normal with 1 saber Or 2 sabers Or a double saber all with different moves etc

I'm not sure what counterstrike can do to improve on R63, we'll have to wait and see.

Yep true mate, true. But instead of wasting my time on ps2 footy games I have made a great game better. It's was originally invented by Joey and Chandler characters in Friends and it is called Fireball. Just keep an eye on MTV and you will see the Sanchez exploits with a new and improved version.
Oh and it involves a lot of Guiness and Grolsch :zonked: :smashin:
