    Hi all,

I'm connecting to XBL 2nite as have had Broadband installed.

I currently have Links 2004, Burnout 3 & PES4 to get me started online.

Can anyone else recommend any other top online games.

    Cheers. :smashin:

Not played that much even though ive been connected for a while now....

The obvious Halo 2 springs to mind although id try to get on with people from the UK as from my limited experience it makes for a better game - I think we just 'get' each other more.

Hoping to get into Ghost Recon 2 more as well in the next couple of weeks, the one or two games ive played ive enjoyed and there seems to be plenty of variation - co op etc.

Ive also heard good things about Splinter Cell - Pandora Tomorrow but not had a chance to play it myself.

I also think alot of people are looking forward to Brothers in Arms which is due out any day now.

Enjoy and make sure you use it more than ive done !!

Tell me about it, can't wait.

Connected to Pipex Broadband last night no probs via the supplied modem but could not get it to connect with adsl modem router I bought from Ebuyer.

Basically the 2 lights on the modem/router kept flashing & when I ran a diagnostic test it mentioned something about 'PPP' & the username password wasn't being recognised.

    Any ideas?

Will prob do a separate post for this problem to get some advice.

    Cheers.

That is not an online game as such, only enabled I think, which means folks can see your online while your playing it and for that matter u can see when your pals go online on other games.
As a stand alone game it is good but there are so many games to choose from you really need to research via reviews to get a feel for what floats your boat, ie First Person Shooters such as Rainbow Six series (close quarter combat), Ghost Recon 2 (Wider scale to RS) or Futuristic such as Halo2 or Project Snowblind. All are kinda similar but have a different feel due to subject matter. try gamespot for some in depth reviews. Once you have narrowed it down you'll find it easier to get an idea of whats for you

Thanks for your advice Malone :smashin:

I will check out Gamespot for reviews on RS & Ghost Recon, prob won't get Riddick as it isn't online (ta for the tip off) I will probably get Halo 2 instead.

    Cheers.l

The staple game for me has got to be Rainbow Six 3 BA. I've wasted hours of my life on this and still thoroughly enjoy it. Although this is parly due to the 'entertainment' provided by the forum clan members in game. :rotfl:
