Hi all, first post in quite a while...

Got my xb1 straight after xmas and been happily playing away on Fifa, Lego Marvel and COD.

System is good, has its quirks which hopefully MS are looking into.

My system connects to my Samsung 55" LED via HDMI which also controls my Samsung E551 sound-bar.

On initial set up I configured the xb1 to turn the tv and sound-bar on automatically once I say the magic words "Xbox On!". Bit up and down on the voice recognition sometimes, but it always turned on both devices.

After the Feb update, the tv turns on as before, but the sound-bar remains off. I've tried resetting the amp setting in xb1 settings and it still recognises it, but won't turn it on.

So, 1) has anyone experienced this bug, 2) and were they able to fix it? 3) I suppose MS will fix it in the March update if no one has got any ideas?

    Thanks

I have exactly the same problem. Worked fine and then didn't. I thought it was the sound bar controls. Popped into a Samsung display in major shop and the people there had no idea how to solve the issue

    Thanks for the reply.

I think it must be an MS problem as it worked before the Feb update. Can only assume MS will repair it in the March update next month.

    Have you tried a reset?
Mine wouldn't accept any voice commands once turned on. Hold the power button for 10 seconds to do a power cycle and turn it back on and it should be ok again (hopefully)
