X1950Pro ~ HDTV prob

Hey I have a problem with my PC to HDTV. I have it set up as part of a dual display hooked up via DVI ~HDMI lead but part of the screen is cropped, meaning I can't get the most from it  The old monitor is hooked up from graphics card via DVI ~ DVI

Card is sapphire Radeon X1950 Pro AGP and TV is a Tosh 37XV503.

Is this a common issue when using LCD tv's as monitors and can anyone suggest a work around for it?

Cheers

Rich

Damn well you can barely tell from the tiny image above but the black line in the centre of the image is what is missing between the HDTV and my second Samsung monitor, the image on the TV is offset by this amount.
