Don't know if there are any posts on this topic yet, but having just spent the night watching this disc, I have just got to say that if you're not a big screen fan yet you are really missing soemthing special.
This disc is fantastic and proves that if they take enough trouble over the transfer the results are spectacular.
Without doubt this is the best looking (non-animated) disc I've seen in ages

Excellent film. Entertaining.

BTW, anybody notice this: At the v.start of the film, the 20thC Fox logo fades away differently to normal - the X at the end of Fox remains highlighted for just a fraction of a second. Subtle. I like it.

I also think that Halle Berry is an absolute delight.
 
The film is OK! I am a little dissapoined with the sound quality on X-Men. It doesent seem to be as loud as many movies. I had to put the sound level higher than i do on other DVD's. the surround effects are good when they do come along!
