I have just received X-Men 1.5 R1 and the disk seems to pause for a small amount of time at quite a few times during the movie.

Has anybody else seen this ?

I have tried it on the following machines

Denon DVD A1
Pioneer DV737
Pioneer A04 (DVD Drive in a PC)
Toshiba 9000

All of them do the same thing at the same points in the movie.

haven't got the film but does it offer both the new and old versions of the film. if so this could be the 'seamless' branching going between the 2 versions.

If thats the case I would not call it seamless.

Is there anywhere that specifies where the extra bits have been added ?

There are no extra bits its the same theatrical cut of the film which was originally released, the seamless branching allows u to view the scenes taken out from the original version and i have to say the quality of these scenes is as bad in this version as the old one, in fact the only reason for getting this "new" version is the DTS sound but since i feel pretty certain this films going to be milked to death and that there is going to be a special edition with the scenes which were cut placed back in the film i will not buy this as the inclusion of DTS and a few additional extras can not justify me purchasing the film again
