X-Box 360 Power Unit

I've just bought a 360 and it doesn't come with a power supply block.

Can anyone tell me if the existing X-BOX 1 system power supply unit will work on it?

No.. the xbox psu was self contsined inside the unit itself. You just needed a standard "8" power cable for it.

You'll need a proper xbox 360 PSU for your new console.

It should do and no the old version wont work. Take yours back to wherever you got an demand a new one!! yours has obviously been opened and raided so demand a new sealed boxed one

He may have bought a foreign one or been aware of it in the first place...perhaps!
