    Got my amp from THESE fellows today, has anyone dealt with them as i paid for it at 09:15 this morn [25th aug] and have not received an email or anything yet :(

    i bought a dav-sr2 sony dvd all in one and i thoght they were sound

    perhaps they havnt processed the order yet? so nothing to email you about?

    did you try phoning them?

    I've ordered two plasmas from them in the past, both arrived in super quick time and were perfect (and still are).

    I once had a slight problem with them getting some Pioneer speakers but they sorted it out on the phone and credited my card accordingly.

    You should try to phone them, and 14 hours isn't that long really.

    orderd my Plazma from them.

    first one was faulty had to phone them a few time to get it all sorted.
    Also took them a while to admit the fault.

    I would suggest phoning

    But in the end they we're ok, they sorted it all out.

    I wouldn't start worrying just yet. Quite a number of online retailers tend not to send any sort of order confirmation via email (which incidently, really hacks me off too, so you're not alone).

    mmmm the Friday of a bank holiday weekend. I would have expected an email confirming the order within that working day, but you can understand why they might not get round to it. I think Digital Direct manually process orders (companies have to these days with so much fraud) and they may be short staffed. For the same reason they could be doing an extra credit card check on you if it's your first order with them. But they are a reputable company and have been trading for years, so I wouldn't worry.
    I've removed the thumbs down icon from your post as it's a bit harsh.
