Nuff said but..
Well rear views would be nice and BIGGER pictures (like avland).
and apparently a new product range coming soon.....
Well spotted chaps - the site has only just gone up. It's by no means complete in every respect so as you spot errors please let us know. In any case we welcome your constructive comments.
Oh and the teaser reference is to a new product category (for Arcam) not a new range. I can reassure readers that the existing current products are generally expected to remain current for some time to come.

Looking at the new website I see in the discontinued products section the AV8/P7.
Is this true and if so whats the replacement?
I believe the new product category may be a HDD based music server, although that is just purely speculation.
Something else which would really be good is a good view of the rear of each product, of course all the inputs/outputs are noted in the Tech Summary, but a detailed view would be very beneficial.
O yes and Mr Dawson, care to offer a snipit as to what the new category is?
Nice layout & presentation - I'm guessing having the AV8/P7 listed in discontinued section is premature?
Think I know the new section - graphics give a bit of a clue, mentioned on website reviews on last CEDIA USA, bit of a hint re new logo/ branding?
IF so then nice marketing teaser
I'm also guessing that the address of the page is a big clue - especially when a quick search of google throws up an interesting entry in the UK Patents Trademark Journal...
You'll just have to wait guys till all is revealed ... when we are good and ready.
The AV8/P7 entry in discontinued products is a obviously a deliberate error just to check you are paying attention
Thanks anyway and keep them coming...

It is such a breathe of fresh air to have products from a company that support and care as Arcam do.
For the new web site are there plans to add in the support section a downloads feature to allow software patches for the AVR300 etc to be downloaded. Obvious disclaimers would need to apply.
Where there are speaker recommendations on the website you refer to the speaker company DEF errrr I dont think Kef will be too pleased!!!! Unless of course DEf is a new but esoteric brand
By the way my avr 300 and my kef xq3 standmounters and xq2c center sound great together and havent sent me DEF yet.
Solo is mentioned at http://www.specialtysoundandvision.com/CEDIAREPORT1.html
"[...] they got a sneak peek at ARCAM's NEW SOLO entertainment system ($1,500). A satisfyingly solid chunk of sculpted aluminum, SOLO packs an audiophile-quality CD player, 50 WPC integrated amp, top-notch AM/FM tuner and full-functioned timer/alarm clock into a single, standard-sized component. Matching speakers (optionally available) are also in the works
When browsing the site using Safari on the Mac (OSX) the menus scroll back up when you try to beynd the 3rd item.
Good update for the ARCAM site. As long as it is keep upto date, I'll all be using it regularily looking for the next upgrade.
Just one thing I have found, the DV29 page doesn't have the owners manual posted on it yet.
You should keep discontinued products on the site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes i'm disappointed that all the alpha series amps & cd player tech info has disappeared they're still listed on google but not accesssable anymore - no good when you flog s/h alpha cd + amps on ebay and want tech info for description......arcam please create a better archive than listed above
The Tech support page is completely blank. Did they forget to add content or are they just bored with us phoning up all the time...
Found that the link to the owners manual for the AVR300 is pointing at the A80, the actual book symbol that is
I wasn't bothered before - but now I want to know what the new range is....!!!!
Could it be HDD..? An 'All in one' system..? SACD/DVD-A..? Any other suggestions..??
