    Hi all,

I am finding my MPBr a little(!) hot to use on my lap. I was tempted by an air but seems daft when I'm just going to run windows on it

I'd like something light, cool but with enough spec to run SQL server and visual studio.

Something like an xps 13 would be good (the older 322x for example) or a series 9

Is the RAM upgradable on this model?

If so then possibly but it would have to be pretty cheap judging by the reviews (and I need to read some more)

RAM is upgradable. One slot is free.

I will pass for now thank you, I'd just end up throwing money into upgrades and I think the screen res would be restrictive
