I had a search around several web sites that I know and the only one to mention a long m/f serial 9 pin cable was Maplin, but that cable was listed as discontinued.
Try phoning around a few Maplin stores to see if they have got any in stock.

    Product code: DD32K
    M/F 9p V24 Cbl 10m

    Good luck,
    Mark.

    Thanks for the help Mark.

It seems to be harder to find than i thought. If all else fails i will have to make one.

    Thanks again

    Tom

    Drop me a note and I'll get a you a price for a 10m cable - the 9 Pin D-sub we supply for RS422 is normally M to M and around £40.00.

    I'll need to get a price for a M to F.

    Hi Joe

    Thanks for the help.

It will fit from the 9pin D on the back of the PC to a 9 pin D on a touch screen.

It should be pin 1 to pin 1 pin 2 to pin 2 ect

Male at one end and female at the other.

I need 7.5m in length if it is to be made or longer if off the shelf.

    Thanks
    Tom
