I've got an oblong room but the TV and seating are opposite each other in one half, leaving the settee right against the wall. The rear surrounds thus end up wall mounted but about 18" from my ear depending on which corner I sit. What would be a better solution for placement ?
Because of door, fireplace, window, fishtank and other furniture position the TV can't move.

The TV and settee are opposite each other on the right hand side.
