    Hi all,

My woes continue on my first HTPC project...:suicide:

I have finally got vista to stop blue screening and be stable enough to use.
I installed a TV card (http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/pages/products/data_hvr1300mcekit.html) and it worked perfectly in MCE. Picked up the Virgin V+ box and controls it etc. No worries.

The PC is connected to the TV via HDMI and picture is perfect. Watching video, picture is fine.

    However...

Watching TV, the picture seems to set to 4:3 instead of 16:9. The output of the V+ box is set to composite, 16:9 and MCE is also set to 16:9 but the TV picture is wrong.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I am been through every setting I can think of in vista as well as the V+ and TV.

The TV is receiving the correct picture as the menu when changing channel is against the edge of the screen, not the TV picture.

V+ is connected to MCE with composite. Also tried SCART.

    TIA.

    Cheers,
    Crispin
