Pretty much what they should have been at the time if you looked at the exchange rate, they were often $1500. This model is changed now. Was a bargain though wasn't it :)

No-one is really sure. There was talk that they were graded stock but in a 2002 thread that got rather overheated Richer Sounds then purchasing director deinied this was true whilst having a bit of a slanging match with the infamous "Harold Corbet"

Yup, the consequences were a bit lost on me at the time!

The new Servo 15 is a new design in most ways and the Sig version looks lovely. :)

Maybe I misread the specs, but it seems strange that the signature servo is lighter than the new servo-15? For the price difference, surely you'd expect from the Signature performance on a par with the DD-18?

As you know from the test's they done on ******, the sig servo did not do as well as expected........only slightly better than the Servo 15a.

    But what a LOOKER
I agree with what people say.........it looks sooooooooooo much better than the DD18......infact i prefer the look of that, than the B&W 850 with the cover on.......the 850 cone does look better thow.

It's a sad fact of commercial life that less scrupulous dealers will say anything to run down products that they don't sell, and whether this takes the form of the untrained giving you the "benefit" of their extensive knowledge or the deliberate manipulation of opinion for personal gain, it's all underhand behaviour.
