all the firmware bugs in the Sky HD box are fixed.

Just think of it, those boys at Sky could put their hands on their hearts and with complete
honesty chant their advertising phase ‘Never Miss A Minute’.

Even if they fixed all existing bugs I would still miss some of my favourite programmes as the EPG metadata is not as fully featured as TiVo and the Sky+ interface lacks many features -4 week EPG, search for actors, directors, keywords, prioritisation etc..

At least Murdoch has bought ReplayTV. Their software was pretty good when I had one in 1998! It was almost as good as TiVo's in 1998!

You mean we gotta wait until Jan '09 before they resolve to fix all the bugs in their CS dept. ;)

This will be THE major thread if we all post our $ky fantasies :rotfl:
