Now I know back in the days of LASERDISC I would spend some silly money on a film but I do think that this is expensive http://www.movietyme.com/newpages/dts.shtml
No, not for those movies anyway. For Star Wars et al....... well, for me the answer to this hypothetical question is a hypothetical yes.
It is expensive. They are also damn difficult to get. Hence the price. P.s. I have them all ------------------ Webmaster, http://www.bulletsnbabesdvds.com
The high prices are because they are Japanese imports not because they are DTS. The non-Japanese titles listed on the same page are at much saner prices.
no not for these titles, infact a box set doesn'teven cost that, from HMV! ------------------ Assumption is the mother of all errors member formerly known as hank hill, then Jesus H but got bored so it became some latin sh*t
Not a chance! ------------------ Douch!!......Wot's da madder, da CIA got you pushing too many penzils? Work: www.hughes-tv.co.uk
The Armageddon disc had a previous retail price of £27.99 on their site, and i was told they would be getting a new supplier so i would have to wait two weeks,on seeing the new prices i dont think i'll be buying it now,i didn't mind paying £28 for dts,but nearly twice the price they can fudge right off! I'll be e-mailing them to express my disapiontment.
Far too expensive, and where's the Lake Placid DTS? I'm REAL dissapointed. Ordering from Sazuma.com works out cheaper although apparantly they aren't the best company around? ------------------ Tee http://www.electronicreality.co.uk
When I have seen Jap imported discs in European shops they have been at sensible prices. I can only agree that someone has gone OTT on their profit margin somewhere in the chain. For those prices fly to Japan and by 10 discs and still save a bit, (but you w'ont be home for tea)
