I am almost ready to order a Samsung LE32R41B from Empire Direct and am trying to decide bewteen the Denon DHT500SD and Ymaha DVXS200 HC systems. I am then going to mount the LCD on the wall using the Veda Z847 bracket. Once up and running, I want to feed this with a Sky Digi box and an ols VCR (although I never watch Videos so may not bother).

The main purpose of the system will be to watch Sky and DVD's and the occasional terestrial aeriel due to Sky not receiving a signal from the satelite. I do not posess a PS2 or the ilk (although my son, who lives with me on the weekend, does) but may want to hook up a laptop utilising a wireless mouse and keyboard.

So, a couple of questions for you people who are far more knowledgable than I:

    1. Is the system practical?
    2. Which would you reccomend, the Denon or the Yamaha?
    3. What connectors would I need?
    4. Would that bracket do the trick? http://digitaldirectuk.com/products_moreinfo3/index.asp?product_id=9069
    5. Do I need anything else?
    6. What height is the reccomended to mount the LCD on the wall

Thanks in advance for your patience with a newbee and help.
