I have a motorised single lnb dish and Echostar 3000 receiver togethr with the small sky dish and panasonic receiver.

Can I buy a lnb splitter and feed the main motorised dish lnb into the panasonic receiver. I will only be able to watch SKY or European programs at any one time, which is fine.

When I want to watch sky I can choose the appropriate satelite to move the dish to Astra and then switch the Echostar off and switch the Panasonic on.

This will beat having an unsightly second dish and two sets of cables coming into the building. Also when the weather is really bad sky tends to break so having the bigger dish to view should be a lot better.

My question is whether it's OK to do this and any problems anyone can think of ?
