I am looking in particular at a react 3 (borderless ) electric screen. There is one near me being sold at a good price and seller says its 104 inches diagonal

my throw distance is around 101 inches diagonal.

as the screen is a borderless one in any event i assume the fact its slighly bigger will make no difference?

You usually find that it shows the imperfections in grey/black levels further, but I'm guessing its more with what your comfortable with. It'll be a little bit like when you watch a 2.35:1 movie on a 16:9 screen a similar thing happens although its not all the way round and taking that into account that the borders would stretch all the way round together with extenuating the effects of 2.35:1 at the top and bottom.

Myself, I don't like it one bit, but others who project onto a wall never seem to complain

if its borderless, it MAY not be as noticeable, but this depends on your wall colour.

My personal preference has always been for a bordered screen as it tends to focus the eyes more, however others are happy without, so just try it and see. (You can also create your own border with Tape if it becomes that annoying; just make sure it is thin and matt)

As you have too much white material then a home made boarder sounds ideal
