Would a Wii from thailand work in the UK?

    title says it all. going thailand and was wondering if i was able to get a Wii from there wether it would work in the UK and play UK Wii games?

    it will work in NTSC 60hz,so if your tv supports that,then yes.
    youll probably need a stepdown transformer,i think,as well..to convert the power supply,to a uk standard.
    and no,it will not play any uk/PAL games,games are region specific on the wii.

    Plus electrical equipment isn't as cheap as you think in Thailand. In some cases it can work out more expensive.
