I have had a Harmony 520 for a year or so but have recently regressed to using individual remotes as I never could get it to work as well as I would have liked.

I used to have and old greyscale Pronto which worked great for about 5 years (until my gran spilt a cup of tea all over it and it died!)

But now I want to go back to a Universal remote, but was wondering whether perhaps the 520 wasn't quite up to the demands of my setup.

Has anyone else found the 520 limited, but then upgraded successfully to the 885 or similar?

For info I have the following

    Sony 40W2000 LCD
    V+ box
    Sony 725 DVD (old)
    Yamaha RX-595 5.1 Amp (Old)
    Xbox 360 + HD-DVD

Thanks in advance for any thoughts / opinions

    R.

All Harmonys operate the same, so the 885 won't make any difference.

What problems did you have with the 520? I have a much more complex setup than yours, and my Harmony(659) works perfectly with it...you should be able to get the 520 to work.
