Looking for two optical cables, one for PS2 and one for Freeview, but is it worth spending any more than £5 on each cable?

I know this has been discussed before but just asking opinions before i decide to buy.

No, I wouldn't bother. So long as they look like they are of reasonable quality assembly wise, you'll be fine. :D

Never noticed any difference with the ones I've used (cost from free to £20 so no exotic ones), with those components I doubt it's crucial, just go for cheapies.

What about cable length? Does that matter? Can I get a 50 foot cable with the same image quality?
