Film 2003 asked its veiwers to vote for the nations worst film ever...:suicide:

from this they created the worst film ever top 10, I can see why some movies made the list, but titanic No.1......... I dont think so, I decided I would put it too the vote.

Remember you are voting for your worst film out of the top 10....:smashin:

Same here, Highlander II got my vote - I never liked the franchise anyway, although I'd have cast three or four votes if I could've done...

I've gone for the blair bitch project, watched it on a late night showing in it's opening weekend. The place was a mix of crusty students with blair T shirts on, and people who had been hitting the bars all night . The boozers were laughing ,the crustys shhh in.

After a good few JD's and coke the old shakey cam gave me motion sickness.

Same with me..... there is one in particular that is one of my favourites!

It is also amusing that the film with the least women in it is so far our winner....

Oh come on, Titanic is thoroughly wretched! The case for the prosecution:

    - It had a huge budget.
    - It was a stupid story to dramatise: was anyone surprised when the ship sank?
    - dodgy accents.
    - Rubbish characterisation (far too 'black and white').
    - It was so treacley that I lost FOUR teeth from seeing the trailer.
    - It lasts for a day and a half (well, it seemed like it).
    - Not only was it treacley, it was also cheesey. And no-one should promote sweet cheese.

Anybody that DOSEN'T vote for Batman & Robin deserves to be taken outside and shot along with Joel Schumacher...:D

Seriously though, A.I and Vanilla Sky in a WORST film list:confused:

A.I would have been better if it finished 20 minutes earlier. It helps if you are mashed as well.:zonked:

Blair Witch for me too. The only film I have ever turned off for being unwatchable.

Both me and the G/F were both feeling sea sick by about halfway through and we hadn't been drinking.

Titanic truely is a terrible film. So the special effects were good, and there might have been a half interesting storyline in there, but the fact is - that film is racist, offensive, and patronising.
If I was related to someone who died on that boat, who had their character libelled by this anti-British crap, then I would have launched legal action (And I am not kidding - I know it wouldn't have got anywhere, but it would have gained publicity in this country against this insulting excuse for a movie).

I found A.I. tedious and annoying. That little kid, whose acting talent consists of tilting his head one one side and staring with a strange look on his face really winds me up

I agree about A.I.: it would have been a better film if it had ended 20 minutes earlier. The ending is too syruppy for words.

But it's still better than Titanic!

I thought Batman and Robin was ok as far as the whole superhero genre goes. It's certainly not the worst of that type.

I've not seen Pearl Harbor, Vanilla Sky, The Blair Witch, Battlefield Earth or Eyes Wide Shut but out of the remainder Batman and Robin is definitely the worst.

The Avengers had good bits, so did Highlander 2 and AI is definitely not a poor film. Titanic isnt a good film, but I'd hesitate to call it exceptionally bad.

I think that at least 90% of films these days would be better off 20-30 minutes shorter. It's almost as if they all have to be around the 2 hour mark now.

I had to turn Battlefield Earth off, which is why I voted for it, it edges out Batman & Robin because its longer. Highlander II does at least have Micheal Ironside in it which is sort of redeeming feature. Ish

Thank god it wasn't just me then.

I don't even get sea sick on boats so the fact I had to walk out of the cinema says something.

But when we then got the DVD (because the wife wanted to see it all the way through after leaving the cinema early), we both realised that leaving the cinema earliy was probably the best thing anyway.

John: the 20 minute point about A.I. is that the film reaches a natural conclusion, then the last 20 minutes seem to be welded on to keep the morons happy.

    Mustn't have a sad ending...

AI and Vanilla Sky are in my favourite lists!

But as for worst one I think it's a tie between Titanic (forced to watch by my then GF - the cruel bitch lol) and Pear Harbour (don't know why I watched that one, no excuses)

Look at this way: I've saved 3 hours of your life.

Perhaps you could go halves with me, and spend an 1 1/2 hours helping me paint my conservatory?

    IMO you are right....:smashin:

I havn't seen Battle Field Earth, but for me it has to be Batman & robin. I am sad to say I went to the cinema to watch this and came out thinking it was one long advert to sell more batman toys.......:(

As for Titanic & A.I. I wouldn't put them in my top 10 but no where near my 10 worst......

Also like Army Bloke I am interested to know how barnabybear can justify his comments about Titanic..........
