What are the worst lines or one-liners you can think of from movies? Especially the ones which are sooooooo bad they make you laugh uncontrollably! :D

Just to get the ball rolling my current fave is Arnold Schwartzenegger in The 6th Day when he said to the bad guy at the end:

    Let the cringing commence!

I can't remember the exact words used, but it's towards the end of Independence Day when there's a British soldier in the field somewhere and he hears the American army on the radio, upon which he declares - 'Thank God ! It's the Americans !'.

If you've seen the film you'll know what I mean - truely cringfull. When I saw it in the cinema everyone cracked up.

    Anything else pales in comparison.

Oh and anything said by Arnold in T3, everytime he spoke he might aswell have looked into the lens and winked.

Always have a good laugh at a line from Species :)

The team come into the scene of a crime. There is blood filling a pool. The resident psychic takes a look at the carnage and lets everyone know...

    "Something bad happened here"

    You don't say! :)

    Aliens maybe?

"They mostly come at night, ......mostly" by that annoying little girl whatever her name was.

Although that's made up by the classic Bill Paxman line "Game over man; GAME OVER!" ...still cracks me up every time i hear it

Matthew Broderick in Godzilla: "That is a big pile of fish."

I can't remember this one precisely, but there's a moment in Timecop. While back in the Old West, some tough fellow threatens Jean-Claude Van Damme with something like "I once went three rounds with Gentleman Jim himself" to which JCVD's response is "Yeah? I saw Tyson beat Spinks on TV."

Anything that kid says in the Mummy Returns. Actually, whenever they get a little kid to be the comedy relief, it makes me cringe.

Species and Mummy Returns had some real cringe-worthy stuff, but I think Mr. Lucas takes the cake for 80% of the dialogue in Attack of the Clones.

I can't remember any off the top of my head, but there were some real doozies in Matrix: Reloaded too.

Once again, Arnie comes up trumps. :smashin:

Got all that beat I'm afraid guys. In the movie "Bloodsport" right at the end when Van Damme's character is at the bedside of the huge wrestler who was earlier injured. The wrestler says sommit like "anytime, anywhere, if you need me I'll be there" to which Van Damme holds the wrestler's hand and says "I love you man". Just when you are giggling at that the huge wrestler looks into Van Damme's eyes and says "Me too" :rotfl:

Arnie's lines are all absolute classics in Commando...
"Remember, Sully, when I promised to kill you last? "
"That's right, Matrix. You did! "
    "I lied."

The only bit that really makes me cringe is when he's playing with his daughter at the start and she puts ice cream on his nose. Aaarrrrrrghhhhhhh!

"How can the same s**t happen to the same person twice!"

I always like it when people tell each other things that they must obviously already know but which have to be stated for the benefit of the audience. In Guns Of Navarone, for example, Anthony Quayle tells Gregory Peck "before the war you were one of the finest mountain climbers in the world" - something one can safely assume that Peck's character would already be aware of.

Whenever they dub movies for tv release, the things they dub over sound so funny. My favorites are in Robocop when one of the bads guys is shooting him repeatedly shouting "Freak You! Freak You!" and in Die Hard, the famous "Yippie Kai-ay Keem-o-sabai". Has me laughing everytime I hear it.

    Got to agree about Commando.

But those lines shouldn't be in the Worst Movie Lines Thread, they should be in the Best Movie Lines Thread :)

It definetly is one of the funniest films ever :D

Got to love the way the Village People cast-off, Bennett, gets pushed into an electric fence, then suddenly gets off and continues fighting :)

After cringing through the last few minutes if 4 Weddings and a Funeral.......

    'It's raining.'

    'Oh really, I hadn't noticed.'

    Big sloppy snog.

Didn't Arnie recycle that "I lied" line (if you can call it that) in T3?

He also had some godawful gags in The Running Man when he put away the bad guys such as:

    "Lights out, Christmas Tree"

    "He had to split"

or the "classic" when he's talking to Killian the gameshow host

    Arnie: "I'll be back"

    Killian: "Only in a re-run"

Is this thread funniest or worst?
For funniest its got to be every movie Arnie has starred in and for one of the worst has anyone seen a movie called Hurcules in New York??(Arnies first movie).......every conversation is painfully meaningless and leaves you thinking " this movie must of cost them around £5000 in total including wages".

Here's a couple of one liners..........

    1) "He fell out of the window ........... STRAIGHT UP!"
    2) "Hurcules how dare u speak to me like this you insolent welp"
    3) "Oh no one 500 lb grizzly ...... oh oh ok Hurcules beat him up!"
    4) "Pay the taxi" "Pay" "Yea bucks, doe" "Whats all this talk about male and female animals????" (As Hurcules is from ancient Greece)
