    As reported here Samsung were showing off thier 82" HD-ready monster at Cebit....

    I wonder what footie on Sky+ would look like on one of those :rotfl:

    But surely, with a TV this size the resolution will be twice as much as 1080 Hi Def wouldn't it - unless the pixels are 1mm square - which would mean unless it has a bloody good scaler, it would be the same as watching SD video on a HD set. I know a lot of us actually do that at the moment, but at least we know HDTV is just round the corner.

    Just think how long you'd have to wait for a for HD to reach a resolution of 3840x2160 ! :rotfl:

    My mate has got an 82" display, but it has a 50" dead pixel round the outside. Thankfully it is of a Philips design so it can't upscale the image to fit and he can still see all of the picture :D
