I am thinking of purchasing a satellite decoder and dish. I know little about satellite television and am based in Manchester, but would like to receive the free channels from Asia (india-Pakistan),, Middle east as well as uk.

Is this possible and if so how do you recommend doing such?

Also can u recommend suigtable decoders and dishes

    Thanks

I can't give a specific answer but, if the programmes you want to watch are free then you obviously won't need a decoder. You'll just need a FTA Digital Receiver and a suitable size dish + universal LNB.

I know of an Asian run company in South Manchester that could do this - supply and install.
PM me if you want me to find their details.
Having said that, it isn't particularly difficult to self install and there are websites offering useful DIY information - like www.satcure.co.uk who can also supply the necessary gear, I believe.
