Just recently the realms have been down and primarily mine. It was of hours on Saturday and Sunday and there was a lot of complaints about it on WOW forums.

The nice is they keep doing ever so nice touches with the game, any one reading this befor Saturday wants to head down to Goldshire as there is a fair on. If you get some beer your character will get drunk and you see the world though a drunks eyes, and if you type any thing in comes out wrong, no need for shpelling pistakes[IMG].

Love it apart from the glitches One is lag if you get on a busy realm one place Ironforge takes ages to load up and things can run un-snooth. Othere areas are OK apart from Stormwind but its not that bad.
An other is when the realms goes down and your offline.

On the upside if you get into it it can be very addictive I’m nearly level 59 and that’s one off the top level, I also have a number of alternate characters one up to Lv30.

There are a lot of areas I still have to go and when your round 60 can go on big raid groups into instances

    The playing area is massive.

If you have a mate that has the game you can get a free 10 free trial if you’re the first one to take the offer up.

I have to say I've only been playing a half a month for 3 hours a day - obviously not addicted yet (?!?) :D

Looking forward to the Fair. I've heard about it on the local channels but haven't got sight of it yet.

Was wondering, Garrett, if you've decided the path you're going to take with your Paladin yet? So far I've spent some talent points on Holy Spirit and extra healing (8pts) but now am wondering whether to go retribution or protection (and beef up my devotion aura). Any ideas?

Still loving the game but get the feeling I'm the oldest person on the server at 25

He is in limbo at level 20 he has to go on some dungeon quest for a Paladin item. Do not distribute points in different talent trees unless you know what you are doing. Get a good website for your character. You want to hit the bottom talent in talent tree asp most people do this at lv 40 yours will be more now.

I fancy going Retribution I thing it gives you 10% increase in all your stats and can be cast on team mates and others. Think ist called something like Blessing of Kings.

Most trees seem to either go for damage or survivable a Paladin deals poor damage but lives longer so I would go that root to balance things up.

I have a priest that can heal himself and cast force field round himself and I’m going the damage root with him. They were the best PvP in the game till the introduced an item that stopped them casting fear on people who have it.
I will look you a guide up so hang o to you talent points.

Thanks for the links. They were really helpful

Used the talent calculator on the WoW web-site and used the information in the links to come up with two builds:

    Holy Talents - 14 points
    Spiritual Focus - rank 5/5
Improved Holy Light - rank 3/3
    Illumination - rank 5/5
    Divine Favor - rank 1/1
    Protection Talents - 10 points
Improved Devotion Aura - rank 5/5
    Toughness - rank 5/5
    Retribution Talents - 27 points
    Benediction - rank 5/5
    Two-Handed Weapon Specialization - rank 5/5
    Deflection - rank 5/5
    Vengeance - rank 5/5
Seal of Command - rank 1/1
Improved Retribution Aura - rank 2/5
    Precision - rank 3/3
    Consecration - rank 1/1

Got protection points in this build so I could get toughness and the 10% armour bonus. But I'm more drawn towards this build I found on the forums:

    Holy Talents - 21 points
    Spiritual Focus - rank 5/5
Improved Holy Light - rank 3/3
    Revelation - rank 1/2
    Illumination - rank 5/5
    Divine Favor - rank 1/1
Improved Seal of Righteousness - rank 5/5
    Sanctity Aura - rank 1/1
    Retribution Talents - 30 points
    Benediction - rank 5/5
    Two-Handed Weapon Specialization - rank 5/5
    Deflection - rank 5/5
    Vengeance - rank 5/5
Seal of Command - rank 1/1
Improved Retribution Aura - rank 5/5
    Precision - rank 3/3
    Consecration - rank 1/1

Want do you think? Anyway must go to bed. I've spent longer deciding and researching these builds then I've spent doing past essays for Uni. :)

Have a look here but with your biuld you miss the all important bottom of the tree in retribution.

Reading futher it seems the retribution tree is more a 1 to 1 playing styl than a group control build.

Will have look later I'v only got up and am out in 40min.

I was talking to one of the guys who has a Pally at 60 and he said he went the retribution way and had Blessing of Kings and even put 32 point in that talent tree.

I could not find any step by step of builds.

I must say the pally is slow at killing I partnered both h a rogue and paladin last night and the rouge was far faster at killing stuff although he was taking a lot more damage.
I should have asked him what talent tree he had put his points in.

Think I might save my points and then decide later as my playing style develops. Too many guides and posts on the forum left me feeling a bit confused. I feel I might sink some points in the Holy Tree then go all the way down in the Retribution tree to Blessing of Kings. So - all the way on Retribution then spend some points on Holy... I think... :)

I wouldn't worry too much .... you can unlearn your talents at a trainer and respend them.

.... althought the cost of doing so increases each time until it reaches 10g then it always costs 10g

That might seem alot, but by 50 + its not .... considering you will have saved and spent 90g on a mount by lvl 40 already.

I have an Epic mount ... they cost 900g ;)

... Just solo'd Uldaman, a level 41-51 instance on my own and made 15 - 20 gold. Random drops can end up selling for 4 or 5 gold ... and if u drop an epic that you don't need, you can make ALOT of cash on AH.

I was teaming with a Rogue and Paladin on separate occasions on Saturday night and the Rouge did damage a lot quicker than the Paladin. All of us were round level30 characters.

But last night I teamed with a Lv 58 Paladin and Warrior and they were both very good (I was a Lv 59 hunter).

From the Paladin I got Blessing of Kings on me and it boosted my damage and he kept casting Seal of Wisdom and Seal of Light in conjunction with Judgment. It both boosted our heath and mana regeneration. One valuable team member. :smashin:

900g  Wow. That's an amazing of WoW money to me. That's something like £40 real money if you use one of those online currency trading web-sites. Though I guess as paladins all we have to do is a quest for our epic mount.

Currently I'm addicted to the AH. I put some things up that I think will never sell and put a huge reserve on them - and then they sell - and the things I think will sell sometimes don't. But I love it when the money pours in.

Finished my first instance as well - DefiasMines (DM?) - and I can see how they can be potential money spinners. Didn't realise how much time it was going to take though. Thought just an hour but ended up spending a few hours trying to complete everyone's quests and so on.

I have a Lv 20 Pally and he can get a uber weapon for his level but needs to do 4 instances to get the bits for a guy to make it.

I think Deaedmines is probably the easiest of the instances.

The trouble with them currency sellers is it pushes the price of goods up at AH for the normal player, people buy money and then out bid everyone else.

Also I have seen some guys sitting in areas waitling for stuff to respawn just because they sometimes have good drops, and preventing other guys completing quest. :nono:

Buying gold online perpetuates a bad server economy.....its a shame so many people feel they need to buy their way ahead of others in the game :(

I am pretty addicted to WoW.....have a 60 NE Hunter on the US Alleria server, a 60 Tauren Hunter on the EU Emerald Dreams server and just started a Human Warrior on the EU Frostwhisper server.....

Keeps me out of trouble I guess

Last night I was in 2 minds whether to buy some armor or not it was high level stuff and in blue, I could have bought it out as I just had enough but as I would not gain too much in stats though, so I just put a normal bid in. This morning I checked and I had been out bid, and funnily the exact same item was back on at 4 times the price. As these do not come up that often I think I smell a rat.

There should be somthing in the programing that prevents you from once the item has gone through AH it is bound to you or your alts but cannot be re-sold at AH or anyone else.

Yeah, I've seen that quest as well. You start the quest in Westfall(I think?). But you certainly have to put the work in to get the weapon. It's supposed to last you for quite a few levels though. If you manage to get your level 20 Paladin to complete the quest please tell me how you did it.

Westfall is the Deadmiines instance, you know where that is? Its is a house in Moonbrook. To do it you need 4 others with you or some high lv nice guy to run it for you. Are you in a guild?

Also you could say in Westfall need a team to do Deadmines they should be lining up to join.

I use it all the time although I have caught it out a few times.

For some other helpful links look at this post and the thread.

I got my Lv 60 Hunter up about 2 week ago and on with building a Shadow Priest up, who is Lv37 at the moment. Then he will need a mount buying un like lucky Warlocks that get them free. ;)

Aszune, I played all the characters and the Warlock the second least with the Sharman the very least.
Funny I liked playing it but probably gave up as it was too similar in style to my main character the hunter, ie using a pet. I think I will get the priest up to 40 them may be get my 3rd alt the rouge up, guess what he's called (clue just look to the left). :rotfl:

Only ever played a warlock cos i dont have that much time to play :(
If you have a priest you wont have any trouble getting in a group cos people always want them to heal.
