Does anyone know the error codes for the Worcester Greenstar 24 Ri boiler.

Mine keeps crashing - the only indicator is a blue light - this flashes a pattern which I understand indicates the specific problem.

Tried googling but all the hits I have found are for models with a alphanumeric display.

    Cheers,

    Nigel

Google the installation manual, somewhere in there you will find an explanation of what the code means.

The Worcester Bosch website is the 1st place to look in the installer section

    Edit
Might also be in the user's manual, how much detail it will give though is another matter

Best way to search is with the boiler gas council number (g c no.) Will be on a data plate/sticker somewhere on the boiler

This identical problem happened to me earlier today on my 24Ri. No heating or hot water.

I had slow Blue flashing light. Any attempt to restart boiler resulted in temporary pump engagement before shutting down completely.

From previous experience, the problem lies with a clogged/frozen condensate pipe.

Solution: use hairdryer, or warm/hot (but not boiling) water on external condensate pipe. Then, rotate boiler knob to ‘reset’, and then back to its previous setting (you might also switch boiler mains on and off prior to this).

It took an hour or so before my boiler came back to life today. You might experience a ‘gurgling’ sound as the boiler restarts.

Mine is different to that. If I turn the number to 'reset in a fuel seconds the boiler starts and the blue light goes solid.

It then runs for normal for anything between a couple of hours to a couple of days.

Next time it crashes I will note the flash pattern but without a list of what they mean it will be moot.

    Cheers,

    Nigel

Please use the very popular central heating and plumbing rather than starting a new thread.

    Thanks in advance.
