Hi Guys, I wonder if anyone could help?

I had my Yamaha SW320 connected to my Yamaha DSP-A5 amp via the phono line connectors, from the ‘Sub Woofer’ output on the amp. All was fine, however, I have never been particularly happy with the sound from the A5, when playing normal music CDs, so decided to purchase an additional stereo amp.

I bought a Denon PMA355 stereo amp, and the CD sound is excellent, but I still wanted to reinforce the bass using my Sub Woofer. I therefore connected the new amp to the Sub Woofer via the speaker connections, as per the manual for the SW320.

So now I have two independent amps connected in different ways to the SW320. Both amps would not be used simultaneously, so I thought everything would be OK, but I now have a slight problem, in that the SW320 will not go into Auto Standby Mode, and I have to keep manually switching it off and on.

Any ideas what I've done wrong? Thanks in anticipation!
