Wood preserver

Established Member
I bought a new shed late last year is there anything other than the usual suspects, cupronil etc you can spray on to the wood to repel water similar to the product you can buy for waterproofing leather shoes or stuff you spray or inject into brick work.

If you are not keen on creosote or paint type products then I'd suggest your next step is a clear exterior varnish. However I'm pretty sure the wood would need preparing properly to take the varnish properly unlike creosote.
