Still got Kung Fu Hustle waiting to be watched. I saw Shaolin Soccer for the first time recently and thought is was a blast. If it's anywhere near as good I know I'm in for a treat! :)

gotta love the irony of going to see a movie and the trailers being the most memorable thing ;)

I only watched Cursed so I could letch over Miss Ricci anyway  :D  .

If you enjoyed the Scream trilogy then you'll probably enjoy this(I did), although I'm going to hang on to buy it and wait see if they do a recut version with the stuff that ended up on the cutting room floor reinstated.

I've still got my Kung Fu Hustle palm print set to open up and watch yet as well

Asssuming your referring to Ong Bak. As I know there is yet to be an official release with an English audio or subs tracks. The ones doing on the rounds on flea bay have been done by a very talented fan with good software and knowledge basically getting an original Thai release and burning English subs directly onto "their" version. I maybe incorrect about this but I doubt it  .

Yup, was referring to it. Was getting confused as the version I saw on flea bay showed the english subtitles as you said. So it makes sense now. Will keep on waiting for a decent release with english subtitles.

    Cheers,

Having looked at Yesasia again and seeing the versions there - it's really weird that although they don't list subtitles, the reviews all appear to be by English speaking persons, and not once do they mention no subtitles in English - in fact, one actually says "I will only add, that if the American Release of this film, would clean-up the rough language in the subs, for it to earn a PG-13 rating, it would open up a much wider audience for this new hero."

Not that this movie appeals to me on any level - but I did find it odd to see so many reviews that were positive and not one mention of "no English subs".
