WMVHD on Mac

Just wondering if anyone had tried running any of the free WMVHD clips from MS' website on a Mac G4/G5. The reason I ask is, i've been offered a deal on a 17' powerbook and wanted to know if it would run on this paticular system using MS M-Player for OSX?? Oh and what about the T2HD, would the license drag over if I aquired it on my PC and shared/sent thefilm to the powerbook?

BTW, I think MS' min. requirements for HD material is a bit OTT, all 1080P files run without any dropped frames on my P4 2.6HT system, and that's with a cra**y video card.

Cheers tomson, anyone care to confirm this. I can't really understand why it shouldn't work because I sent a wmv encoded file (640x480) to my mac at work created using movie maker2 on my PC at home and it worked fine. (and my work Mac is complete rubbish, G3 iMac I think:rolleyes: )
